AUSTRALIA DAY - PHOTOGRAPHIC EXHIBITION

THE EXHIBITION WILL OPEN FOR THE LAST TIME ON AUSTRALIA DAY 2007

Captains Flat Community Association with assistance from PhotoAccess inc, presents a photographic exhibition of historical photographs of Captains Flat. Opened by former federal member for Eden Monaro, Jim Snow on Friday 29 September, the Exhibition has been on view on Market Days since then.

This is the first exhibition of a selection of images from the community archive, the archive has been established to digitally collect and preserve images from Captains Flat exciting history, all images have been kindly donated by current and past residents of The Flat. 100 images have been selected from the 500 or so already donated to the archive. The Exhibition is at the Captains Flat Community Hall, Foxlow Street, Captains Flat and copies of images are for sale.

All profits raised from the sale of images will assist with on going costs of maintaining the archive.
